Yellow Jersey Sports Travel for combat sports in Thailand

A UK sports travel policy that names Muay Thai and MMA in Activity Pack 4. High limits, a high price, and UK residents only.

Our verdict

Yellow Jersey Sports Travel names Muay Thai, MMA and cage fighting in Sports Activity Pack 4, with high limits (£10 million for medical costs and repatriation) and full travel cover. It suits UK residents going to a recognised camp for a single trip, especially anyone who may fight as an amateur: Muay Thai is not marked with the policy's “no cover in competitions” condition. It is expensive for a month, and it is not for non-UK residents. If you earn money from fighting, check the professional definition below before buying.

What it covers for combat sports

The deciding texts are the activity list and the policy wording (Sports Travel Version 4.1, 02/02/2026). Pack 4 lists Muay Thai (3), Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) (3) and Cage fighting (3). Condition 3: There is NO cover unless the activity is taking place within organised guidelines and as part of an organised activity led or instructed by professional guides or licensed organisers. Condition 5 (no cover when racing or while taking part in a competition) is not attached to these sports.
